Student Middle School Assignments
Students who will be assigned to Wilson Pacific (or whatever the name may be in the future) and start at Whitman can follow one of two paths. They can stay at Whitman for the duration of their middle school experience or they can attend Whitman for the year(s) before Wilson Pacific opens and then attend Wilson Pacific when the building is complete.
Washington State History is a Requirement for Graduation from High School

8th Grade Students and Parents/Guardians:
At Whitman Middle School, Washington State History is offered during second semester. The curriculum focuses on the historical, political, economic, social, cultural, and geographic aspects of the Pacific Northwest.  A grade of 60% or better is necessary to meet standard for this course.

Washington State History is a high school graduation requirement.   Students who do not meet this requirement in middle school will need to make alternative arrangements at the high school level.

Thank you for your support,

8th grade counselor: Carley Brockmiller-Spitzer: cmspitzer@seattleschools.org   206. 252.1212

What is the Funky Formal Fundraiser?

The Whitman PTSA Funky Formal Fundraiser is an annual auction event that raises money in support of Whitman’s academic programs, student enrichment, teacher training, and fun community-building events.   The FFF is our second largest fundraiser and we need YOUR help to successfullyreach our $30,000 goal!  The income from the FFF helps the PTSA meet current year budget obligations – in other words, this year’s donations help this year’s students!

How can you help?

Buy a ticket, join us on February 28, and come ready to bid high and raise your paddle!

Donate! Click here for our wish list.  We are especially looking for:
1. Restaurant gift certificates for our Bidding Frenzy.
2. Bottles of wine ($20+ value) for our Wine Grab.
3. Desserts for our silent auction Dessert Table.

H
elp with finding sponsors to underwrite the cost of the event. Our 2015 sponsorship levels are $250, $500 and $750.  Find more information on our Sponsorship page.
